Courtney Beach - Principal
I am so excited to begin my first year as the principal of Shiloh Point Elementary. I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve this community.
My husband, Ryan and I have two children. Our son, Brady, is a senior at West Forsyth High School and our daughter, Rowan, is a freshman. We are grateful for the experiences our children have had in Forsyth County Schools, and I am eager to serve alongside principals, teachers and staff that have left their mark on Brady and Rowan.
I am originally from Ohio but spent my formative years attending international schools overseas. I moved back to the United States to attend Ohio Wesleyan University in 1992. After moving to Georgia in 2004, I taught 8th grade science in Fulton County, where I had the honor of being named the 2010-2011 Fulton Country Middle School Teacher of the Year. In 2013, I was promoted to Graduation Coach. A year later, I was named as the Assistant Principal at Manning Oaks Elementary in Fulton County, where I remained for seven years. In 2022, I transitioned to Forsyth County, where I have served as Assistant Principal of Kelly Mill Elementary for the past two years. In addition to my Bachelor’s degree, I hold a Master’s degree from Mercer University and a Specialist’s degree from the University of North Georgia.
My top priority this year is to listen and learn so that we can continue Shiloh’s legacy of ensuring a caring, loving, and supportive environment for all students.
Tennille Walsh - Assistant Principal
It will be my first year at Shiloh Point Elementary, and I am thrilled to join this amazing school community! Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, I served as a Math Instructional Coach, a Math Specials teacher, and a third grade teacher.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University, a Master’s Degree from Brenau University, a Leadership Add-on from the University of West Georgia, as well as a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. I have a passion for inspiring others to reach their full potential.
I was born and raised in the Atlanta area, and my family now resides in West Forsyth. I have been married for 14 years, and we have an amazing daughter, Brooklyn, who is in seventh grade and loves gymnastics and dance. We also have a 8-year-old Aussiedoodle named Parker. When we’re not at the gym watching Brooklyn compete or practice, we enjoy being on or near the water, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
I am looking forward to an incredible first year at Shiloh Point, working alongside the dedicated staff, students, and families!
Amanda Wickman - Assistant Principal
It is a true honor to serve the students, staff, families, and community of Shiloh Point Elementary as Assistant Principal. With over 25 years of experience in Forsyth County Schools, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of roles including Instructional Coach, Instructional Technology Specialist, teacher of the gifted, and elementary classroom teacher.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Newberry College, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, and a Leadership Certification from the University of North Georgia. Additionally, I earned an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
My passion lies in empowering both teachers and students to reach their fullest potential. Each day, I am energized by the opportunity to support and inspire growth within our school community. Outside of school, I enjoy listening to audiobooks and traveling with my family—hiking the Great Wall of China remains one of my most unforgettable adventures.
I look forward to an exciting and successful year ahead as we continue to grow and learn together.
